I am excited to inform everyone that we have reached the end of our “Tour of the Midwest”, and have landed in the Twin Cities, which we now call home. My name is Erick Warden, and my wife, Alyssa, and I have been moving all around the Midwest while she was completing medical school, internship, and residency. We have lived as far north as Fargo, ND and as far east as Toledo, OH. I have frolicked among the cornfields in Des Moines, IA, and we recently moved from the cheese curd capital of the world, Madison, WI to Maple Grove, MN.

I have been in IT roles for 10 years now, and have never stopped learning new things. Starting with an interest in computers and an eagerness to learn and listen, I have been able to grow my skills and knowledge. Because of this, I’ve been able to achieve things I admire and appreciate in past co-workers and mentors. Most recently, I worked for Epic, a company that creates electronic healthcare record software. Unfortunately, Epic does not allow for remote work, so when we moved to Minnesota for my wife’s dream job, I had to say goodbye. Nevertheless, working at Epic will always be a chapter of my life that I look back fondly at, and be proud of.
